Why Tammy on Your Board

Few directors have sat in both the CEO's chair and the CNO's.

Tammy has led hospital operations and clinical practice from the inside, then built a second career advising boards and executive teams on the same issues from a governance vantage point. That dual lens makes her especially effective on committees focused on quality, patient safety, risk, and executive succession.

For Quality committees: she led Magnet redesignation, ANCC accredited nurse residency program, and Joint Commission/CMS survey readiness as Director of the Center for Clinical Excellence at University Health System. For Finance and Audit committees: her operating record includes a hospital turnaround from a census of 50% to an ADC of 80% (CMI 1.0 to 1.3) in three months, plus multi-site fiscal and administrative oversight at Kindred Healthcare. And she has already done the job of a director - as President of the Metrocrest Medical Foundation Board and Vice President of the Food Bank of Golden Crescent Board.

Tammy is currently exploring board and advisory opportunities with healthcare systems, hospitals, and healthcare adjacent organizations.
