Through two firms - Clinical Advisory Team and Competency Exchange - Tammy partners directly with healthcare organizations on the challenges that matter most at the point of care: clinical excellence, workforce development, patient safety, and organizational transformation. Every engagement is informed by her own experience running hospitals and leading nursing practice, not just advising from the outside.
Clinical Advisory Team (2007 - Present)
Tammy's advisory practice supporting healthcare organizations on clinical excellence, patient safety program design, and organizational transformation - helping leadership teams translate strategy into measurable improvements in quality and care delivery. Recent and current projects include serving as lead accreditation consultant for North Carolina A&T State University's DNP program, developing an innovative blended-classroom model for Frontline Nurse Leader program content and delivery, and provide IACET-approved continuing education.
Competency Exchange (2020 - Present)
A workforce development platform focused on building competency and leadership pipelines for healthcare organizations - including a custom-built Health Care Learning Management System featuring inservice CEUs, competency testing and checklists, and specialty academies.
